Deputy Managers - Beech Lodge, Kingsmead Care Centre, Longfield Manor

Applicants must be an experienced RN and have the Registered Managers award and/or NVQ 4 or be willing to work towards them. Requirements include good working knowledge of applicable legislation, supported with evidence of good working practice and leadership skills. The right applicant will be person centred, have understanding of CQC requirements and be committed to supporting the choice and independence of our service users. Experience of working in the independent sector would be an advantage.

Registered Nurse - Horncastle House (Weekday nights), Wisteria Lodge

Duties to include assessing nursing needs and planning/evaluating care provision. You will be able to maintain accurate clinical observations of the service user's condition and keep all required records of nursing care. You will communicate with service users, their relatives & co-workers; administer drugs and treatments as prescribed with safety/accuracy and be able to assist in appraisal process of junior staff members.

  • Carer/Driver - Clemsfold House

    This is a full time varied role and duties include: sharing with the other staff in meeting the personal care needs of service users in a way that respects the dignity of the individual and promotes independence, help in the care of the service users physical environment and in the general day to day activities of the home, transport service users to and from the day centre/college Monday to Friday, transport service users of the home on outings and where necessary to medical appointments.

    Activities Assistant - Beech Lodge, Wisteria Lodge (both 20 hours), Rapkyns Care Centre

    We are looking for an enthusiastic and creative person to join our friendly team. This is a flexible position assisting the Activities Coordinator in providing a variety of recreational leisure and educational opportunities for service users in order to enhance their quality of life by meeting their interests and needs. Activities will be organised to promote life skills and social, physical and intellectual well being for service users. This position involves working with either elderly mentally infirm or young disabled adults depending on the home.

    Kitchen Assistant - Forest Lodge (7.30am to 2.30pm weekdays & flexible weekends), Upper Mead (30 hours)

    This is a position working under the direction of the Chef on duty, in order that food and beverages may be prepared, cooked and served in a hygienic and safe environment. Knowledge of working within a health care setting would be an advantage.

    Domestic Assistant - Kingsmead Care Centre

    We are seeking an enthusiastic full time domestic assistant to join the dedicated team in our home. This position will involve general household cleaning tasks and other tasks to maintain the high standard of infection control within the home; thus ensuring a clean, pleasant and safe homely environment for the benefit of our service users and the good name of the home.

    Domestic/Kitchen Assistant - Clemsfold House

    We are seeking an enthusiastic person to work full time as domestic assistant on some shifts and a kitchen assistant on other shifts. The domestic position will involve general household cleaning tasks and other tasks to maintain the high standard of infection control within the home; thus ensuring a clean, pleasant and safe homely environment for the benefit of our service users and the good name of the home.
