Deputy Home Managers

Applicants must be a RN with experience in learning disabilities (as appropriate) and be willing to work towards NVQ 4 or the Registered Managers award. Requirements include a good working knowledge of applicable legislation, supported with evidence of good working practice and leadership skills. Experience of working in the independent sector would be an advantage as would knowledge of CQC requirements. The right applicant will also be person-centred and committed to supporting choice and independence of our service users. Accommodation may be available if required.

Registered Nurses and Specialist Nurses

Duties to include assessing nursing needs and planning/evaluating care provision. You will be able to maintain accurate clinical observations of the service user's condition and keep all required records of nursing care. You will communicate with service users, their relatives & co-workers; administer drugs and treatments as prescribed with safety/accuracy and be able to assist in appraisal process of junior staff members. Uniform is provided a nd the ability to drive would be an asset due to the rural position of some of our homes. Accommodation may be available if required.

Speech and Language Therapist

We are looking for an experienced and innovative speech and language therapist to work with young people with multiple and complex needs. Full or part time would be considered.

Physiotherapist

We require a staff Physiotherapist to join a multidisciplinary team to work with adults with physical and learning difficulties. You will need to be motivated and flexible to work within the care home environment providing posture management and hydrotherapy to persons with complex disabilities. The role will require you to drive and be able to work independently at homes across the Horsham District. Full time preferred. Salary dependent on experience

Experienced Activities Coordinator - Horncastle Care Centre

This is a full time, flexible position involving the co-ordination of a full programme of activities which will provide a variety of recreational leisure and educational opportunities for service users in order to enhance their quality of life by meeting their interests and needs. Activities will be organised to promote life skills and social, physical and intellectual well being for service users.


Minibus Driver - East Grinstead/Uckfield Area

We currently have a vacancy for a minibus driver for a variety of shifts to include 6am to 2pm and 2pm to 10pm weekdays and alternate weekends. Duties will principally involve transportation of staff but will also i nclude outings with service users within the group. A clean driving licence is essential.



Physio Assistants - Beechcroft Care Centre, Horncastle Care Centre and Rapkyns Care Home

We are looking for experienced physiotherapy assistants who are able to carry out tasks under the supervision of a Physiotherapist. It is anticipated that after experience and training the post holder would undertake some tasks alone, reporting back to the Physiotherapist any progress or problems. The job would involve work with individual service users and groups of service users. The ability to swim is essential.

Care Assistants

Full time carers required - to include weekend work. Opportunities are available within the group to gain NVQ qualifications and work on a structured career path. This is a fantastic opportunity to be at the forefront for developing quality services. Accommodation may be available if required.     Carer/Driver - Beechcroft Care Centre

    This is a full time varied role and duties include: sharing with the other staff in meeting the personal care needs of service users in a way t hat respects the dignity of the individual and promotes independence, help in the care of the service users physical environment and in the general day to day activities of the home, transport service users to and from the day centre/college Monday to Friday, transport service users of the home on outings and where necessary to medical appointments.

    Domestic Assistant - Forest Lodge

    We are seeking an enthusiastic full time domestic assistant to join the dedicated team in our home. This position will involve general household cleaning tasks and other tasks to maintain the high standard of infection control within the home; thus ensuring a clean, pleasant and safe homely environment for the benefit of our service users and the good name of the home.


    Kitchen Assistant - Forest Lodge

    This is a full time position working under the direction of the Chef on duty, in order that food and beverages may be prepared, cooked and served in a hygienic and safe environment. Knowledge of working within a health care setting would be an advantage.
