Palliative Care Education Award 24th March 2006
Sussex Health Care Education Team were delighted to receive an education award at the prestigious Internal Journal of Palliative Care awards ceremony recently. Their entry described the Palliative Care training that was devised a year ago and has been presented to a large number of the qualified nurses and care staff in the company. The importance of skilled and competent staff to deliver end of life care was realised by the training team and they devised this course to ensure that the staff of the care homes received the information they required.
