Sussex Health Care retains the services of a range of therapists including physiotherapists, speech & language therapists, occupational therapists and expert advice is available on any aspect of a service user's care, recreational pursuits or environment. Rapkyns Care Centre also offers a variety of complementary therapies.
Rapkyns Care Centre has the benefit of an Activity Organiser, who devises and carries out personalised activity plans, alongside the service user's key worker.
The many activities include alternative and complementary therapies, dance and movement, music, arts and crafts, cooking, hydrotherapy, swimming and riding for the disabled.
Service users benefit from the use of their own specially adapted vehicles for outings and sporting activities.
